I've coded projects including a full-stack Facebook-inspired social media site named "MatchA", a region-based restaurant recommender and comparator, a multilingual COVID-19 sentiment zero-shot tweet predictor, and more.

Research

  • Psychological Research

    Researched NLP-transformer accuracy for lexical predictions and healthy versus depressed/anxious actimeter data. Currently computationally modeling the judgment-of-recency (JOR) paradigm in human memory.

    I won the Best Student Paper for the 2022 Smoky Mountain Data Challenge, where we analyzed the two-year usage trends of the Summit supercomputer at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

    Currently writing a capstone paper on the psychological effects of media on humanizing and providing advice for the socially marginalized, focusing on the social phenomenon of the hikikomori in modern-day Japan.

Howdy, I'm Kevin!

As a M.S.E in Computer Science student at the University of Pennsylvania, I specialize in Web Development, Data Science, and Natural Language Processing. In my undergrad, I spent time as a CS, Psychology, and East Asian Languages triple major where I developed a unique passion for Software Development for altruistic applications in medicine, human research, and cultural amplification. I have previously worked for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, The Children's Hospital of Pennsylvania, and Berkadia.
